I have been anticipating this 100th post since it seems to be a milestone for so many bloggers. However I couldn't think of a subject "worthy" of my 100th post. And it seems as though there is much sadness in the lives of several of the bloggers I follow.

So I thought I'd just post a picture and tell everyone who reads about my adventures in Alaska how cool it is that people who don't know me read about the things I do. If you want, post a comment and tell me how reading about my life in the last frontier has changed your perception of Alaska. Can't promise a prize but you never know!!

  1. The first thing I thought upon finding your blog: "There are horses in Alaska? And internet? That's awesome!"

  2. 河水永遠是相同的,可是每一剎那又都是新的。.................................................................

  3. Thinking about Alaska makes me homesick. Now, it leaves me missing my girl too. Actually, I surfed the rescues up there looking for one like her today, but as usual, found none. Freya was one of a kind!

I think of driving Moose Pass and falling in love with Alaska all over again each time. I think of walking on the beach in Kenai. I think of celebrating both dusk and dawn simultaneously at 1am in June. I think of moose calves and eagles. I think of gigantic snowflakes and the Aurora Borealis. I think of blue tractors pulling doubles to the North Slope. And, I think of great friends I left behind...
