  3. So very pretty!

I could really use a set of saddle racks like the ones you have covered in snow. Maybe Santa will get the hint this year. He's hung a few of the single style ones, but we ran out of allotted wall space and I need more!

  4. It looks so beautiful, and cold! Snow covered trees are something I have dearly missed since moving to Eastern Nevada.

  5. OS - I had those custom made at Fence Emporium in Palmer. It was not cheap but holds 4 saddles and 4 blankets. If you can find someone to make it down there I will send you better pictures.

It's not as cold as you guys think it looks. Highs were in the 20s. I've only got on 2 layers of clothes and haven't got the furs out yet.

  6. Up here it doesn't seem to snow when it's really cold, only when it's in the 20s or low 30s. When it gets lower than that, it never snows. Is that true up there too or is it just a weird weather pattern down here?

Anyway, I assumed with all that super-fresh snow that it wasn't too cold!

  7. Funder - You are exactly right. I have seen it snow when the temps are in the teens but not usually. The temps have to be in the mid 20s for it to snow. If it goes above freezing then we usually have ice.

Odd for me to hear you say "Up here". Usually there's nobody "up" from me. :)
